Rob Reiner ha avuto una candidatura postuma agli Emmy 2026: il regista aveva partecipato a The Bear

Sono state rese note le candidature agli Emmy 2026, il più importante premio televisivo d'America. Tra alcuni titoli che era preventivato potessero figurare tra le nomination, come The Pitt, che è stata tra le serie più apprezzate dell'anno, ce ne sono alcune che sorprendono come quella postuma a Rob Reiner. Il regista è stato ucciso insieme a sua moglie Michele Singer lo scorso dicembre, nella loro casa di Los Angeles, indagato per l'omicidio è il figlio 32enne Nick Reiner.

La candidatura postuma a Rob Reiner

Il noto regista ha ricevuto la candidatura postuma per aver presto parte come guest star in una delle puntate della serie The Bear, con Jeremy Allen White e Ayo Debiri, tra le più amate degli ultimi anni e giunta alla sua stagione finale. La nomination è quella per la miglior guest star in una serie comedy.  Si tratta dell'ottava nomination per Reiner, che aveva vinto per ben due volte nel 1974 e nel 1978 nella categoria miglior attore non protagonista di una serie comica per Arcibaldo. Era stato candidato anche di recente, nel 2024, nelle categorie per il miglior speciale documentario o non-fiction e per la miglior regia per Albert Brooks: Defending My Life. 

Tutte le candidature agli Emmy 2026

La corsa agli Emmy è guidata da The Pitt. La serie ambientata nel pronto soccorso di un ospedale di Pittsburgh con protagonista Noah Wyle ha conquistato ben 25 nomination, tra cui quella per il miglior attore proprio per l'ex volto storico di ER. A seguire c'è Hacks, serie arrivata alla sua ultima stagione, che raggiunge ben 24 candidature e tra le favorite compare anche Widow's Bay a quota 19. Di seguito, l'elenco di tutte le candidature:
